God has created innumerable species for a specific purpose. Everything has been placed in its proper position. Among all species, human beings stand above the rest. They have been endowed with remarkable faculties that make them extraordinary. They possess the potential to reach the pinnacles of glory. Thus, the choice lies in a person’s own hands to decide what he or she wishes to become. In this article, I would like to discuss the qualities of a beneficial person.

The first quality is a well-developed personality. A beneficial person understands himself or herself deeply. Through introspection, he develops a clear sense of purpose and direction in life. He knows the rights of his Creator as well as the rights of fellow human beings. He understands that good manners and proper etiquette are among the most beloved deeds in the sight of God. He always seeks opportunities to help others, regardless of creed, colour, gender, or social status. In short, he is a mature and self-realised personality.

The second quality is foresight. Such a person always looks beyond the present while living responsibly in the moment. Neither happiness nor sadness overwhelms him because he understands that worldly conditions are temporary. He does not become trapped in the comforts and attractions of this world. Through careful reflection, he realises that life in this world is a preparation for success in the Hereafter.

The third quality is humility. A beneficial person is never arrogant. He remains polite and considerate in his behaviour. His speech and actions reflect dignity and self-control. Even when occupying a high position, he treats others with kindness and humanity.

The fourth quality is morality. He maintains honesty and integrity in both personal conduct and professional dealings. He never forgets that pleasing his Creator requires fulfilling his responsibilities towards others. If someone wrongs him, he does not seek revenge or harm. Instead, he responds with patience and goodness, knowing that true character is revealed through noble actions. In this way, he sets an example for others and inspires people through his conduct.

The fifth quality is thoughtful silence. A beneficial person speaks little but thinks deeply before expressing his views. He understands that wisdom comes not only from acquiring knowledge but also from reflecting upon it. However, his silence does not indicate weakness. When the occasion demands, he speaks with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

The sixth and final quality is the legacy he leaves behind. Through his character and actions, he inspires others. His contribution to society continues to benefit people even after he is gone. His life becomes a source of guidance and motivation for future generations.

Indeed, a beneficial person is a great asset to society. It is up to each of us to decide whether we want to become a source of hope and positivity or a cause of discomfort for others. The need of the hour is to make ourselves true models of truth, love, humility, and service. By doing so, we can become beneficial to everyone and fulfil the qualities of a truly beneficial person.
