Teachers, relatives, neighbours extend congratulations
SRINAGAR: In an inspiring achievement marked by dedication, perseverance, and spiritual commitment, 12-year-old Muaz bin Mushtaq, a 5th class student of Bilaliya Education Institute and resident of Hawal, Srinagar, has successfully completed the memorization of the Holy Quran after nearly two years of continuous effort and hard work.
The achievement was celebrated during a special Khatm-e-Quran Dua gathering organized at Tameer-e-Millat, Lal Bazar, Srinagar, where teachers, relatives, students, neighbours, and community members gathered to congratulate the young Hafiz and offer prayers for his bright future.
The occasion became deeply emotional for the family and relatives who had closely witnessed the sacrifices and struggles behind the accomplishment. Attendees described the achievement as a source of pride and inspiration for younger generations, especially considering the demanding routine followed by the young student throughout the memorization journey.
The journey toward Hifz-e-Quran initially began with Muaz’s elder brother, Muheet Bin Mushtaq, whose dedication to Quranic learning created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere within the household. Inspired by his elder brother, Muaz later joined the Hifz program and gradually developed deep attachment and commitment toward memorizing the Holy Quran.
Behind this achievement lies a difficult journey marked by long travel hours, extended memorization sessions, and continuous revision of lessons alongside regular school studies. The routine became especially challenging during Kashmir’s harsh winter months, when freezing temperatures, snowfall, dense fog, and slippery roads made daily travel exhausting and difficult.
Family members recalled how Muaz continued attending classes regularly despite the severe cold and difficult weather conditions. Even after spending long hours memorizing and revising Quranic lessons, he would return home late in the evening and continue revision to maintain consistency in memorization.
His father, Mushtaq Ahmad, and mother, Sakeena, remained constant pillars of encouragement and support throughout the journey. Relatives stated that the parents made countless sacrifices and adjusted their routines around his studies to ensure that no obstacle affected his Quranic education.
The final completion of the Holy Quran brought immense joy and emotions to the family. Relatives described the moment as unforgettable, with tears of happiness and gratitude filling the home as family members thanked Almighty Allah for granting the young Hafiz the strength to complete the sacred journey successfully.
Teachers and scholars present during the gathering emphasized that Hifz-e-Quran requires patience, discipline, concentration, and years of consistent effort. They described the achievement of Muaz bin Mushtaq as a powerful example of faith, sacrifice, and determination for younger generations.
The gathering concluded with collective prayers and warm wishes for the continued success, wisdom, and bright future of the young Hafiz.
