SRINAGAR: The Traders Association Lal Chowk on Tuesday organized a plantation drive at the historic Amar Singh College, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and a greener future.
The drive was led by President Mohammad Iqbal Khan, along with General Secretary Mohammad Saleem Bhat, Organizer Jatinder Singh, and Executive Member Arif Ahmad Zarqoob.
The initiative witnessed active participation and enthusiasm, with members planting saplings across the college to promote environmental awareness and enhance green cover. The association emphasized the importance of such drives in combating climate change and preserving the natural beauty of the Valley.
Speaking on the occasion, the members reiterated their resolve to continue contributing towards ecological balance and urged the public, especially the youth, to take part in similar initiatives for a greener tomorrow.
