GANDERBAL: Bashir Ahmed Shah has been unanimously re-elected as the District President of PSAJK Ganderbal for a second consecutive term. The decision was taken during a meeting of the Executive Body of PSAJK Ganderbal held on Friday.
All zones of the district, represented by their respective Zonal Presidents, participated in the meeting and extended unanimous support to Bashir Ahmed Shah, who was elected unopposed.
The election process was conducted under the chairmanship of the Convener of the Election Commission, PSAJK, Mr. Farooq Ahmed Ashai, along with Mr. Majid Butt as member.
The occasion was also graced by the presence of the State President PSAJK, Dr. Baba Nazrul Islam.
During the meeting, it was resolved that sports activities and staff upskilling will be key priorities for PSAJK Ganderbal in the upcoming academic session.
All participating Executive Members congratulated Bashir Ahmed Shah on his re-election and expressed confidence in his leadership. He was formally entrusted with the responsibility of leading the district and addressing the upcoming organizational tasks in the presence of the Election Commission officials.
