JAMMU: Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, visited the Eidgah on Residency Road in Jammu on Sunday to assess preparations for the upcoming Eid prayers. She was accompanied by Special Officer Auqaf Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Jammu Administrator Abid Hussain, and other sectional heads.
During her visit, Dr. Andrabi inspected the facilities and directed officials to ensure proper arrangements for cleanliness, water supply, electricity, and other essential services for worshippers.
Expressing her commitment, she stated that the Eid congregation at this venue is the largest in Jammu, and the Waqf Board is dedicated to providing satisfactory facilitation for visitors on Eid-ul-Fitr. “With coordination between the Waqf Board, government departments, and public support, we aim to conduct the festival prayers smoothly and efficiently, as has been the tradition,” said Dr. Darakhshan.
Dr. Darakhshan visits Eidgah Jammu to review Eid prayer arrangements
