HAJIN: To foster and reinforce the spirit of peace and communal harmony, the Manasbal battalion of 13RR of the Indian Army on Thursday hosted an “Iftar Party” at COB Hajin Camp.
Scores of locals and senior citizens, journalists, and molvis gathered for a party to pray, eat, and converse.
13RR Hajin conducted this event to bring in harmony and increase the bond between the Army and locals in the area, an Army official said.
He said the local people expressed their hope that such events would improve communal harmony in the region. “The locals and the Army would work together for the betterment of society and their region,” the official added.
