Directs CEOs, ZEOs to personally verify arrangements
SRINAGAR: To ensure smooth reopening for Classes 1 to 8 on Monday after the winter break, the Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) conducted a surprise visit to Dream School GGHSS Kothibagh.
During the inspection, the Director directly visited Kindergarten classes and assessed basic facilities for young learners. He interacted with the concerned teacher and reviewed preparations for students returning to school.
The institution is equipped with modern facilities including smart classrooms with digital learning support, a STEM and Robotics Lab, air-conditioned (hot and cold) classrooms, art-integrated learning, and provision of free books, uniforms, and mid-day meals.
“Every arrangement must be personally verified to ensure a smooth and inspiring start for our young students. Let us work in close coordination to make 2026 the Year of Academic Excellence,” the Director stated.
He directed all Chief Education Officers (CEOs), Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs), and Cluster Heads across the Kashmir Division to personally inspect schools and confirm readiness before reopening.
The Director was accompanied by Chief Accounts Officer DSEK Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Khanday and Chief Education Officer Srinagar Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat.
The Directorate reiterated its commitment to providing a safe, well-prepared, and quality learning environment for all students.
