BANDIPORA: Hajin police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 6.7 kilograms of bhang powder from his possession.
Acting on specific information, a police party from Police Station Hajin, led by SHO PS-Hajin, conducted a naka check at Ladipora Gund Prang. During the routine check, they noticed a suspicious pedestrian carrying a nylon bag. Upon searching the bag, police recovered 6.7 kg of bhang powder.
The accused has been identified as Tariq Ahmad Lourihanji, son of Ali Mohd Lourhanji, a resident.
