SRINAGAR: Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, Syed Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi (Minister of State), today inaugurated the newly constructed first floor and Examination Hall at Model Waqf School Chrar-e-Sharief during a ceremony held at the school complex. The project, which commenced last year, was completed swiftly adhering to approved standards. Waqf Board officials and prominent citizens of the town attended the event.
In her address, Dr. Andrabi highlighted the infrastructural developments undertaken by the Waqf Board over the past three years in Chrar-e-Sharief. She emphasized that the land of Nooruddin Noorani (RA) remains a spiritual power center of Kashmir, holding immense significance in the country’s spiritual landscape. She announced that soon, Smart Classes will be introduced across all Waqf Board educational institutions throughout Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Andrabi also noted that the Waqf Board was the first to implement the National Educational Policy in its institutions. She praised the ongoing infrastructural enhancements at the shrine of Alamdar, which have received widespread public endorsement. She expressed confidence that 2026 would mark a historic year of infrastructural growth for the Waqf Board in Jammu and Kashmir.
