On this solemn occasion, family members, friends, associates, and the broader business and social community of Jammu & Kashmir gathered to commemorate the first anniversary of the passing of Late Haji Abdul Rashid Ghani—a life distinguished by integrity, service, and quiet leadership.
A respected entrepreneur and philanthropist, Haji Abdul Rashid Ghani was renowned not only for his business acumen but also for his humility, generosity, and unwavering dedication to the social and spiritual fabric of the region.
To honor his memory, dua-e-Majlis were held across prominent platforms including JKHC, CCIK, civil society organizations, and at revered shrines such as Baha-ud-Din Ganj Bakhsh, Asar-e-Sharif, Kailash Pora, Peer Dastgeer Rahbab Sahab, and Khanqa-e-Moula Shahi-Hamdaan. These gatherings reflected the deep respect he commanded across diverse sections of society and the collective grief at his absence.
Additionally, a Quran Khawani was held at his residence, Ghani Manzil, Bagh-i-Ali-Mardan, where prayers were offered for his maghfirat and eternal peace. The atmosphere was one of reflection and remembrance, as attendees recalled his compassion, wisdom, and the enduring impact of his work and character.
Haji Abdul Rashid Ghani is profoundly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire community he served. Though he is no longer with us, his values, contributions, and legacy continue to inspire and live on through the lives he touched.
