Tral: An encounter broke out between security forces and militants in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
An official said that security forces cordoned off Nader area of Tral after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
As security forces zeroed in on the suspected spot, hiding militants fired upon forces, which was retaliated to, triggering an encounter, he said.
