NEW DELHI: SunRisers Hyderabad hold the record for the highest team total in Indian Premier League history, having smashed a record 287/3 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2024 season. The Orange Army also smashed 277/3 against Mumbai Indians in the same season. SRH also whipped up the fourth-highest total with a whopping 266/7 against Delhi Capitals.
Pat Cummins’ men have got off to a similar blazing start in the IPL 2025 season in their opening match against Rajasthan Royals. Having been asked to bat first by the visitors, SRH romped past 200 in only 14.1 overs on the back of spellbinding knocks from Travis Head, Ishan Kishan and the rest of the top order.
Sunrisers marked their fourth 250-plus total in only 17.4 overs, marking it as the 11th 250-plus total in IPL history. After Ishan Kishan blasted a 45-ball century, SRH eventually one short of their record total of 287 on 286/6.
