SRINAGAR: In an effort to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the community, the Handwara Police organized a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at the Police Station.
The meeting was chaired by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Handwara and attended by local Numberdars, Chowkidars, and respected citizens.
During the meeting, participants raised various issues of public concern. The SDPO assured attendees that their genuine grievances regarding police matters would be prioritized and that issues related to civil administration would be addressed with the relevant departments for prompt resolution. The officer emphasized the importance of community cooperation in maintaining law and order and in identifying any anti-national or anti-social elements that could disrupt the peaceful atmosphere.
Participants expressed their commitment to supporting the police in combating social crimes and praised the efforts of law enforcement in facilitating community engagement, allowing citizens to voice their opinions freely.
