PAMPORE: The annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Nimatullah, popularly known as Niam Sahab (RA), was observed with immense fervour and devotion in Niam Sahab Mundakpal village of Pampore Tehsil area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The one-day event saw a large number of devotees gathering to pay obeisance at the shrine. Saturday evening unfolded with a magnificent congregation of prayers, Naats, and Khamata ul Mozumaat at the shrine, resonating with the spiritual significance of the occasion.
Distinguished preachers, addressing the gatherings, emphasized the timeless wisdom and teachings of Awliya Allah, encouraging attendees to imbibe these principles in their daily lives. The event attracted devotees from near and far, including women, youth, and the elderly, underscoring the inclusive nature of the celebration.
Amidst fervent prayers for peace and prosperity, the ambience was further heightened by captivating Sofiyana music performances that enraptured the souls of all present. The artists, through their enchanting recitations, fostered a profound sense of spiritual connection, leaving an enduring impression on the hearts of the audience.
Furthermore, meticulous arrangements were put in place to ensure the comfort and well-being of pilgrims participating in the Urs Mubarak. From accommodations to nourishment, every detail was meticulously attended to, showcasing the organizers’ unwavering commitment to hospitality and care.
Every year, hundreds of devotees visit the shrine to seek the blessings of the revered saint. As part of the annual Urs, a free langar was organized for the devotees by the local committee, ensuring that all attendees were provided with meals during the event.
