PAMPORE: Officials from the Wildlife Department Range Khrew successfully rescued a two-month-old bear cub in the Zewan area of Srinagar district.
A two-month-old bear cub was rescued by the Wildlife Department Range Khrew Pampore after receiving information from Armed Police Headquarters Zewan, wildlife official Mudasir Ahmad told Kashmir Reader.
The cub was discovered by police officials, who promptly notified the wildlife experts.
Upon receiving the alert, a team from the Wildlife Department swiftly arrived at the scene and took the bear cub into custody. The Wildlife Ranger confirmed that the two-month-old bear cub was indeed rescued from the premises of the Armed Police Headquarters in Zewan, following reports of its presence in the area.
