Srinagar: Government on Thursday accorded sanction to the constitution of Selection Committee for recommending suitable candidate for appointment as Union territory NSS Liaison Officer.
Headed by Principal Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, the 4-member panel has tasked to circulate information about the post among Universities and
Colleges.
The other terms of reference for it include: “to invite applications and conduct interviews of candidates; to recommend suitable candidate for appointment as Union territory NSS Liaison Officer, on deputation basis for a period of two years, which may be extended by another two years, subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent officer.”
