SRINAGAR: On behalf of the Christian community living in J&K, Delegation Christ Church of Kashmir felicitated Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian President and Founder Anjuman Interfaith Dialogue Chapter Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi for providing a platform in Kashmir for inter-religious dialogue.
While felicitating, Dr Pastor Philips said that Aga Syed Hassan has been a staunch supporter of causes that promote diversity religious freedom and interfaith dialogue and cooperation.
Another member of the delegation Pastor Paul said, “All faiths and backgrounds are together with the able leadership of Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi and we redouble our efforts to reject hate and bigotry in all forms.”
While thanking the Christian Community of Kashmir for the affection, Aga Syed Hassan said, “Dialogue has remained the core of our political activities and social interaction. We have contributed by instilling the awakening of the Shia-Sunni brotherhood right from the 19th century. We have maintained good relations with Kashmiri Pandits, Sikhs and Christians. Right from day one, we have worked in the field of property protection, the endurance of neighbourhood rights, resolution of family conflicts, etc.”
“I am trying hard to continue and add to their good work. It is the vision and efforts of the great people of this soil that also include forefathers of our organisation that have eliminated sectarian hatred from Kashmir. We have the history and tradition of living in harmony and jointly we have to uphold our values,” he added.
