New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has re-extended the registration deadline for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024. Aspirants can fill in the online application form at the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. As per the revised date, students now have time till April 5 (9:50 pm) to apply for CUET UG 2024.
This is the second time that the CUET UG application deadline has been extended. First, it was supposed to close on March 26, then extended from March 26 to March 31.
After the application window closes, students will be given time to make corrections in their application forms. City slips will then be released before issuing the admit cards. CUET UG admit cards will be released in the second week of May 2024.
CUET UG 2024 applicants will be able to select four cities as their exam centre choice. Aspirants had the option to select only two exam centre city choices last year.
The CUET UG format has seen a change this year. As per the information provided by NTA, CUET UG 2024 will be conducted in a hybrid mode between May 15 and 31 in 13 languages.
However, like last year, CUET will be conducted in Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Meanwhile, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has reached out to state boards to urge school students to apply for CUET UG 2024.
