BJP gains momentum in Pampore; VP Pulwama leads joining prog

PAMPORE: In an endeavor to bolster its presence in Pampore, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a meeting cum joining programme at the Constituency Office Tancha Bagh in Saffron Town Pampore on Thursday. Vice President Pulwama, Mohammad Asif Ganaie, spearheaded the event, witnessing a notable surge in new memberships, particularly among the youth.
During the gathering, Vice President Ganaie welcomed several individuals, including National Conference Sarpanch Nagina Akhtar, into the BJP fold, highlighting the growing enthusiasm among locals for peace and development as a driving force behind the increased party enrollments.
Ganaie, emphasizing the party’s commitment to strengthening its grassroots presence in Pampore, assured the community of addressing their concerns promptly. He engaged with various delegations throughout the programme, listening to their grievances and pledging to prioritize their demands.
The event showcased the BJP’s concerted efforts to expand its influence in Pampore while reaffirming its dedication to serving the needs of the local populace.
Speaking to Kashmir Reader, BJP Vice President Pulwama, Mohammad Asif Ganaie, expressed satisfaction with the turnout, noting a significant number of youth and women joining the party. He highlighted the recent addition of PDP Sarpanch Krunchoo to the BJP, indicating effective ground-level work. Ganaie mentioned that many workers from Krunchoo, Konibal, Mumpora, and other areas also joined the BJP during the event. Additionally, National Conference Sarpanch Nageena from Mumpora embraced the BJP today.
Ganaie emphasized that those who joined the BJP felt their efforts were not recognized in their previous political affiliations and expressed eagerness to contribute to development initiatives under the BJP’s banner. He reiterated the party’s commitment to ongoing joining programmes, aiming to attract more individuals to join the BJP and participate in the region’s progress.
