Urs of Hazrat Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq (RA) observed in Tral

Pampore: The Urs of the most illustrious companion of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and first Khalifa of Islam Amir-ul-Momineen, Hazrat Abu Bakr-i-Siddiq (RA) was observed on Friday with full reverence and religious fervour in Sub Division Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A glimpse of holy relics was displayed after Friday prayer at Kaunsarbal Tral, where a large number of devotees from different parts of the subdivision attended the annual Urs.
During the Urs, the clerics threw light on the life of the companion of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Eyewitnesses told Kashmir Reader that hundreds of devotees including elders, women, and children thronged the Asaar Sharif Kousarbal shrine Tral to participate in the congregational prayers. The relics were shown to the devotees.
The largest gathering was witnessed after Friday prayers when the majority of people gathered to offer Friday prayers. He said that people from dozens of villages of subdivision Tral and other parts of the valley.
A nightlong Shab Khawani, Darood Azqar and Naat Khawani were also held during night-long prayers in connection with the Urs of Hazrat Abu Bakr-i-Siddiq (RA).
