Srinagar: Apni Party convened the district-level meeting to assess the performance of the leaders and workers from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The meeting held at the party headquarters in Srinagar, was chaired by the party’s general secretary, Rafi Ahmad Mir, while the party’s provincial president, Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, was also present on the occasion.
According to a press release, the leaders and senior workers from Pulwama presented a comprehensive overview of their political and public outreach endeavours; besides sharing their views on how to further bolster grassroots-level support in the district. Additionally, the participants discussed important party issues and provided their perspectives on addressing these matters.
On this occasion, Rafi Ahmad Mir advised the district cadre to enhance their political activities and public outreach in the peripheries and far-flung areas of the district to connect with the masses. He also urged them to prepare themselves for the upcoming parliamentary poll campaign in the district.
He said, “Apni Party is dedicated to addressing public issues and grievances by bringing these matters to the notice of the concerned officials. For this, we are supposed to remain in touch with the people on the ground so that we have first-hand information and awareness about the issues that people are grappling with. I suggest you enhance your political and public outreach activities even in the far-flung areas of your respective district.”
Rafi Ahmad Mir also urged the party cadre to create a mechanism to highlight genuine public issues and grievances to ensure swift redressal of these issues through the concerned authorities.
“Mir assured the party cadre that the entire leadership will stand with them when they are out there to serve the people in their respective areas,” the press release said.
