VBSY showcases govt’s achievements in Saffron Town Pampore

Pampore: The town of saffron, Pampore, witnessed the grand arrival of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on Saturday, a nationwide campaign aimed at highlighting the achievements of the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In its ongoing celebrations in Pulwama district, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has reached a commendable milestone. This ambitious journey has effectively delivered the transformative impact of government schemes directly to the grassroots.
The programs were held at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Pampore. Tehsildar Pampore Zuber Ahmad Bhat, Naib Tehsildar Pampore Javaid Ahmad, Block Medical Officer Pampore Dr Asima Nazir, Zonal Education Physical Officer Pampore Masrat Hussain Andrabi, ZEO Pampore Abdul Rasheed Teli, AEE Jal Shakti department Gulzar Ahmad, AEE PDD Javaid Ahmad Tak, AEE Flood Control department Faisal Farooq, Municipal Committee Pampore officials, Malik Yaqoob, and other representatives from various line departments, along with a substantial number of local residents and civil society members, actively participated in the event.
During the event, the officers actively interacted with and reached out to citizens eligible under various welfare schemes. They disseminated information, fostering awareness about government-sponsored public-centric schemes.
The Yatra, a comprehensive initiative to underscore the significance of various government schemes and initiatives for the welfare and development of the people, unfolded with departmental heads from diverse sectors setting up stalls and exhibitions. These platforms served to disseminate crucial information about the schemes, with officials distributing pamphlets and posters to the public.
The Yatra Van, a mobile ambassador carrying the Prime Minister’s message and the government’s accomplishments, received a warm welcome from officials gathered at the venue.
Speaking to Kashmir Reader, Tehsildar Pampore Zuber Ahmad Bhat said that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra program was organized in Pampore, with a significant number of people participating. Line departments provided information about various government schemes, explaining how individuals can benefit from them. Additionally, all line departments actively participated in addressing the developmental indices in Pampore.
A collective Sankalp pledge and the “Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani” segment allowed beneficiaries to share stories illustrating the profound transformation brought about by Government schemes. Visual testimonials, distributed in the form of calendars, reinforced the positive impact of these initiatives.
A cultural touch to the event, students presented vibrant cultural programs. Expressing their gratitude, they lauded the District Administration for organizing such a beneficial and informative program right at their doorstep. The event showcased a collaborative effort to inform and engage the community in the ongoing development initiatives led by the Central Government.
