In a riveting finale at Iqbal Stadium Pampore, DcodeFuture Cricket Club emerged victorious in the Big Bash Pampore Edition-4, defeating Pampore Kings by a margin of 25 runs.
DcodeFuture Cricket Club set a formidable target while batting first, posting a score of 192 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Najam-u-Saqib showcased a stellar performance, playing a remarkable innings of 95 runs.
In response, Pampore Kings struggled to chase down the target and could only manage 167 runs. Despite several batsmen making promising starts, none were able to convert them into substantial innings, a Captain Dcodefuture Aadil Bhat told Kashmir Reader.
Najam Saqib’s outstanding performances throughout the tournament earned him recognition as he bagged both the “Player of the Match” and “Player of the Series” awards.
The Big Bash Pampore Edition-4 featured a knockout format, attracting participation from 16 competitive teams. DcodeFuture Cricket Club and Pampore Kings showcased exceptional cricket skills to navigate through the tournament and reach the grand finale.
It is noteworthy that all editions of the Big Bash Pampore were contested in the year 2023, adding another exciting chapter to the cricketing enthusiasm in the region.
