Srinagar: Khyber Cement, a flagship cement brand in Jammu & Kashmir, had recently launched its new logo with the tagline ‘Dil se banao’. Recently, the esteemed organization organized an extensive medical checkup in collaboration with Khyber hospitals and consultation camp at Khonmoh Chak village. The medical checkup camp was organized under the CSR initiatives by Khyber Industries Private Limited along with Khyber Hospitals. The team of doctors included Gynecologists, Pediatrician, General Physician and Nursing staff. The local villagers marked their attendance in impressive numbers.
A range of medical tests and diagnosis were conducted which also included basic medical tests and ECG’s tests as per the requirement. Additionally free medicine was distributed among the patients as required. The medical camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the local community, and they appreciated the initiative by KIPL Administration for providing this opportunity for the well-being of the villagers.
Also, the KIPL management representatives appreciated the support from the Village Community Members for arranging the space and other amenities for conducting the medical camp and for their assistance in making this initiative a successful venture. Arshad Peerzada – Chief HR & Admin Manager, Aaamir Anwar – Lead Employee Relations & Training and Mukhtar Ahmad – Assistant Manager HR with other staff members from KIPL were present at the camp to ensure all arrangements were in place and the camp was concluded in an orderly manner.
The village administration and villagers were elated owing to the medical camp conducted in a professional manner, thanking KIPL and the entire contingent of doctors and medical support staff from Khyber Hospitals that was present for the endeavor. It is important to pay due attention towards our health and ensure that any minor discomfort is attended to immediately. Our small step of conducting a medical camp has seen a great response and we are glad that we could help so many people.
