Pampore: In a remarkable achievement, Yusra Ashraf, a seventh-grade student, residing in Zaffron Colony, has unveiled her creativity at D-code Future Institute in Saffron Town Pampore. Yusra, who is passionately acquiring skills in coding and game development using JavaScript, has successfully crafted a Tic Tac Toe game, showcasing her talent and innovation.
Highlighting the broader implications of Information Technology (IT), Yusra emphasized its pivotal role in fostering educational and technological progress.
Aadil Bhat, the founder of D-code Future Institute, commended Yusra’s noteworthy advancements in the field. Bhat urged fellow children to actively engage with IT, emphasizing its potential for future opportunities and challenges.
This inspiring development underscores the emerging talent within the community and the transformative impact of technology on young minds.
Speaking with Kashmir Reader, Yusra Ashraf, said that coding is her passion. She embarked on her coding journey in 2023, starting with numerous C programs. After successfully tackling C programmes, she transitioned to JavaScript, creating a few programs. Her goal for the next two years is to master JavaScript.
She emphasized the significance of coding based on technology, expressing a strong interest in it as a valuable skill. Coding boosts her confidence, and she aspires for everyone to learn coding. Currently, in the winter season, she is dedicated to acquiring coding skills and mastering this valuable expertise.
“This is simply a Tic Tac Toe game that took me three weeks to create. I have written around a total of 526 lines of code for it, learning this coding skill from D-code Future,” Yusra said.
She added, “My message to everyone is that you can simply learn a skill because it is a valuable asset. The advantage is that you can acquire this skill even before the 10th grade, and age or class doesn’t matter. You can learn it anytime. As we commonly say, I have become a doctor and engineer.”
Aadil Bhat, the founder of D-code Future in Pampore, told Kashmir Reader that Yusra is an excellent student at D-code Future. “Her focus on coding has been remarkable over the past year. Yusra serves as a role model for others her age, demonstrating her commitment to her approach,” he said.
