College of Temperate Sericulture SKUAST-K takes pledge

Srinagar: Scientists and staff of the College of Temperate Sericulture, SKUAST-K, led by Prof. K. A. Sahaf, took pledge to abstain from corruption, under the theme “Say no to corruption, commit to the nation”.
The pledge was taken as part of the commencement of Vigilance Awareness Week, which would be observed from October 30 to November 5, 2023. The integrity pledge by the staff was taken with an objective to raise awareness against the threat posed by corruption and to make the staff conscious of their right to live in a corruption free society.
During the pledge staff members were asked to be vigilant and commit to highest standards of honesty and integrity at all times and support the fight against corruption.
Associate Dean of the College, Prof. M. F. Baqual in a message conveyed that integrity, ethics and corruption free atmosphere are foundations of any organization and it is responsibility of every employee to inculcate these values in him for bringing more transparency. He said that academic and professional honesty has immense importance in professional institutes. All the Scientists and Non-Teaching as well as Field Staff of the College participated in the pledge.
