Srinagar: To mourn the demise of sister of Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri Joint Registrar who passed away on Saturday evening August, 26, 2023, the faculty, officers and non teaching paid rich tributes to the deceased, and expressed sympathies with Dr. Zarri and his family.
Vice Chancellor, Professor Nilofer Khan, expressed her deepest condolences and prayed for the departed soul & said that the whole university shares the grief of Dr Zarri.
Registrar of the university, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Mir, also condoled the demise & expressed deep sorrows over the death of his sister The Deans, Heads of departments & officers prayed for the eternal peace of departed soul and for patience & forbearance to the Dr Zarri & whole family.
It is pertinent to mention that Ms Nasreen, elder sister of Dr. Zarri passed away after a prolonged illness fighting bravely the deadly disease of cancer during the intervening night of August 26-27, 2023.
