Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan has tied knot from Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sarfaraz posted a photon on Instagram with the caption “Allhamdulillah married.”
While talking to a local news portal, the 25-year-old said it was his “destiny to get married in Kashmir” and added “If the Almighty has destined, he will play for India one day.”
“Kya baat hai bahut bahut badhai (Wow many congratulations),” commented Suryakumar Yadav on his Instagram post.
Chris Gayle, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Varma, Axar Patel and Umran Malik also wished the couple on social media.
Sarfaraz has been in sublime touch in the last few seasons in the domestic game.
Sarfaraz has scored 2566 runs in the last three Ranji seasons. He scored 928 runs in the 2019/20 season, 982 in the 2022-23 and 656 in the 2022-23 season. Sarfaraz averages 79.65 in first-class cricket.
In all, the right-handed batter has notched up 3,505 runs in 37 first-class matches with 13 centuries.
