Bandipora: Under the Civic Action Programme of CRPF, a free medical camp was organised by 3 Bn CRPF at CA Khan Bandipora on Tuesday.
The medical camp was inaugurated by senior citizen Abdul Salam in the presence of Mahendra Kumar, Commandant 3 Bn CRPF, Officers of 3 Bn CRPF.
Abdul Majeed Rahi , Sarapanch . Mushtaq Ahmed, Assistant Sarapanch of C.A. Khan Panchayat and other officers of CRPF and elected DDC and BDC members of Panchayat where also witnessed the occasion.
The CAP for medical benefit was assisted by District Hospital Bandipora and Dr Saboor from PHC Ashtangoo, Dr Wasis from HWC Chandaji, Dr Jamshed from HWC Aragam, Dr Jahangir from HWC Benlipora and Dr Khalid Shah from DH Bandipora also participated in extending medical treatment to the local populace.
The programme included free medical checkups and the distribution of essential medicines for illness. Around 334 people from the village benefited from free medical consultation and treatment.
The local residents of C.A. Khan and adjoining villages who received medical benefits highly appreciated the event organized by 3 Bn CRPF.
