PAMPORE: The Mouzin of Khanqah-e-Faiz Panah Tral who was critically injured in a road accident on Sunday succumbed to his injuries on Monday at a Srinagar hospital.
Locals informed Kashmir Reader that the accident took place between a Tata Sumo vehicle and a motorbike at Diver, Tral, which left Owais Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Soimoh Tral, seriously injured. Owais was the Mouzin and the Naib Imam of Khanqah-e-Faiz Panah Tral.
He was taken to SDH Tral and then transferred to a Srinagar hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday morning. The body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case in this regard already stands registered in police station Tral.
Meanwhile, a pall of gloom descended upon the Soimoh village of Tral when the body of Owais reached home. A large number of people from various areas of the sub-division participated in his Namaz-e-Jinaazah which was held in his native village.
