Tral: A 50-year-old man was seriously injured in a bear attack in the Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
The injured man has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Gujar, a resident of Nagpathri, Tral.
Locals told Kashmir Reader that the incident took place when Bashir had gone to graze the cattle at Nagpathri. He was suddenly attacked and received serious injuries including in the head.
He was taken to Sub District Hospital Tral by the locals where the doctors referred him to a Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.
