PAMPORE: Social Welfare and Development Committee Lalpora Pampore on Saturday held an oath ceremony programme in Jama Masjid Lalpora, during which the Chairman of Welfare and Development Committee was elected and nominated by members of Social Welfare and Development Committee Lalpora.
During the programme, the Social Welfare and Development Committee Chairman and other members were took the oath for their responsibility, a Welfare Committee member told Kashmir Reader.
A good number of local people were also present in the program besides Imam and Khatib of Jamia Masjid and respected citizens.
It should be noted that the Committee has been active in the village for the past six years and after the completion of the six-year term, this committee has been reestablished in which Bashir Ahmad Dar son of the late Ghulam Ahmad Dar, has been appointed as the chairman of Social Welfare and Development Committee while Muhammad Yusuf son of Habib Ullah Dar, Tariq Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar, Riyaz Ahmad Dar son of late Ghulam Muhammad Dar, Sajjad Ahmad Bhat son of Gulzar Ahmed Bhat, Shabir Ahmad Dard Son of Ghulam Nabi Dar, Rauf Ahmad Sheikh son of Muhammad Abdullah Sheikh, Bashir Ahmad Dar, son of late Muhammad Ramzan Dar, Ghulam Hasan Dar, son of late Ghulam Muhammad Dar, Habib Ullah Dar, son of late Abdul Aziz Dar, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar, Javed Ahmad Sheikh, son of Muhammad Ramadan Sheikh, Shabir Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ali Muhammad Sheikh.Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Muhammad Dar, Muhammad Ashraf Sheikh, son of Abdul Ghani Sheikh, Showkat Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Hasan Bhat, Abdul Rashid Dar, son of Abdul Ahad Dar, Showkat Ahmad Dar, son of late Ghulam Nabi Dar, Ali Muhammad Dar, son of Ghulam Muhammad Dar, were appointed the members.
