SKUAST-K scholar invited as Honorary Visiting Fellow to Australia university

Srinagar: A recent Ph.D graduate of SKUAST-Kashmir, Dr Uzma Arifie, who pursued her doctorate under the guidance of Prof. Manzoor Ahmad Paray, Head Division of Entomology SKUAST Shalimar has been invited as an Honorary Visiting Fellow to Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment, Western Sydney University Australia.
She will be working under the guidance of Prof. James Cook (Theme leader Plants Animals Interactions) at Hawkesbury campus. This is in continuation with her joint Ph. D Programme under the MoU between SKUAST Kashmir and Western Sydney University, Australia. She has worked on native insect pollinators of Almond in Kashmir valley during her Ph.D program.
