Er Ehtisham Khan honoured as ‘Youth Icon’ by Ghulam Nabi Azad

Srinagar: In recognition of his contributions and achievements in the field of young leadership, sports and social work, Er Ehtisham Khan was honoured as “Youth Icon” by Padma Bhushan Ghulam Nabi Azad (Former Chief Minister J&K & Ex- LOP Rajya Sabha) and Rajyognini BK Sudershan Didi (In-charge, Brahms Kumaris J&K) at a program organised by Brahma Kumaris for the Lohri festival in Jammu.
Azad, who was the chief guest of the program, expressed his appreciation for Khan’s contribution and activities and wished him all the success in the future. While addressing the gathering on the auspicious occasion, he conveyed his best wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He also encouraged the organisation for their services of uniting people and spreading the message of peace and brotherhood, globally.
Former Minister of J&K, R S Chib was the guest of honour while S P Verma (Padma Shree) was the special guest of the program. Others present included Jugal Kishore (Former Minister) Hira Lal Abrol (Secretary DAP) and Salman Nizami (Chief Spokesperson, DAP).
Khan has been conferred with multiple awards in the past for his immense contributions towards the betterment of the society, by various national and international organisations and the Government of J&K which includes “Mahatma Gandhi Seva Puraskar-2022”, “The Youth Icon Award-2021” and “Award of Appreciation-2020”.
