Anjuman Jama Masjid pays tribute to Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA)

Srinagar: Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar on behalf of its incarcerated President Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has paid heartfelt and glowing tribute to the first Caliph of Muslims Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA), the successor of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), on the occasion of his passing away anniversary.
According to a statement issued it described Hazrat Siddique-e-Akbar as the best person in the Ummah and the first companion of the Prophet (SAW) who set an example by fully dedicating his life for Islam, its movement, and to the service of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Such an example cannot be found in the history of humanity, it said.
The life and teachings of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) are a beacon for all eras and we should resolve to follow in his footsteps to overcome the challenges we presently face, the Anjuman while quoting the Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir said.
