Pampore man dies of cardiac arrest

PAMPORE: A 65-year-old man died of a massive cardiac arrest in the Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday evening.
Ali Mohammad Naikoo, a resident of Drangbal Pampore, Ex Khilafwarzi Inspector of Urban Local Bodies died due to a sudden heart attack.
Locals informed Kashmir Reader that Ali Mohammad Naikoo was at his home when he suffered the attack and died on spot. They said Naikoo had been to the washroom to perform ablution so that he could offer evening prayers.
“As it took longer than the normal time, we called him several times to come out but no sound or voice came from the washroom which panicked us,” a family member said, adding that they broke the door and found him lying on the washroom floor.
The family and neighbours quickly rushed him to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
The sudden death of Naikoo shocked the family, neighbours and friends.
Meanwhile, Fallah Behbood Committee Chief Organiser Mir Murawat Hussain has expressed shock over the sad demise of Ali Mohammad Naikoo and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage for the family to bear with the sad loss.
A large number of people participated in his Nimaz-e-Jinaza which was held at Salafia Model School Drangbal, Pampore.
