J&K Yateem Foundation organises blood donation camp at Children Hospital

Srinagar: J&K Yateem Foundation (JKYF) in collaboration with Govt Children Hospital, Srinagar organised a blood donation camp here today.
About 50 volunteers of JKYF from all parts of Kashmir Region donated their blood at the camp.
Dr Nazir H Chowdhary, Medical Superintendent and Waheed uz Zaman, Incharge blood bank, appreciated the humanitarian spirit of JKYF volunteers. Dr Chowdhary appealed to one and all to come forward without any fear to donate blood for saving precious lives.
Responding to the call of the hospital, Chairman JKYF Mohammad Rafiq Lone had asked volunteers to come forward to donate their blood.
Volunteers from all age groups belonging to all the Kashmir districts reached the Children Hospital in extreme cold conditions and donated blood as part of moral and social obligation towards needy patients.
Chairman JKYF thanked Hospital administration particularly Medical Superintendent and Incharge Blood Bank including his staff, for putting in place all the necessary arrangements in a befitting manner. He also appreciated the humanitarian spirit of JKYF volunteers.
