Pampore boy injured in accident at Chadoora dies

PAMPORE: A teenager from Pampore who was seriously injured in a road accident that occurred in Chadoora area of Budgam a day ago, succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning.
A 17-year-old Ubaid Shafi son of Mohammad Shafi Aakhoon, resident of Namblabal Pampore who was critically injured in Motorcycle accident at Chadoora Budgam on Thursday.
The injured was shifted to nearby hospital where he was referred to SK of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Srinagar for advanced treatment where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning.
Local residents told Kashmir Reader that Ubaid Shafi along with his friend had sustained serious injuries in a road accident on Thursday when he was on the way to maternal home Chadoora.
He said that he was undergoing treatment at SKIMS Soura and today morning he succumbed to his injuries.
SHO Chadoora Mehboob Ahmad told Kashmir Reader the accident took place between Scooty bearing registration number JK04B- 6003 and Tipper bearing registration number JK04A-6869, resulting in to injures two teenagers boarding on Scooty in which one person Ubaid Shafi succumbed to injured and another teenage Huzaif Ahmad Yatoo (18), resident of Nagam Chadoora undergoing treatment in SKIMS Srinagar.
A case has been registered at police station Chadoora, driver of Tipper arrested and his vehicle involved in the accident seized.
