IAIT Pampore distributes winter clothes among needy

PAMPORE: Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust ( IAIT) Pampore on Sunday started distributing winter clothes at Islamia High School here at Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The drive will continue for some time on Sunday’s. Many people in need of clothing visited the Islamia School and picked up clothes of their need.
They thanked management for IAIT Pampore for arranging the winter wear for them from the past many years.
Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore provides free of cost medicine to patients suffering from cancer, diabetes, kidney and other chronic diseases from Pampore Tehsil.
Talking to Kashmir Reader President Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore Mohammad Maqbool Shah said that today they started distribution of winter clothes among poor and which will continue on next coming Sundays.
“With the beginning of cold weather conditions in Kashmir, we distributed winter clothes among poor and destitutes,”
President Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampor Mohammad Maqbool Shah said, adding that the clothes are donated by the wealthy and they only distribute them among the poor.
He said the winter clothes include sweaters, jackets, blankets, Kameez and Shalwar etc.
He told Kashmir Reader that they distributed summer clothes too so that the poor in the area have no dearth of them.
He added that apart from clothes, they also arrange life saving drugs for patients including patients of diabetes, cancer, kidney and other chronic illnesses on a monthly basis.
” We also offer free diagnosis and examinations for various ailments at our laboratory to poor patients free of cost,” he said.
