Srinagar: Hollyday Café beat Shape up Fitness Cricket Club by a narrow margin of 11 runs in the finals of T20 Chill Out cricket tournament played at TRC Cricket ground on Sunday.
After winning the toss Hollyday Cafe decided to Bat first and managed to score 166 runs.
Adil Kachroo scored 33 runs and Shahid scored 32 runs for Holly day Cafe. For Shapeup Fittness Javeed and Junaid took two wickets each.
In reply Shapeup Fittness only managed to score 155 in twenty overs for the lost of 9 wickets. Adil scored 33 Adil Wani scored 24 runs.
For Hollyday Cafe Dr Sajad Hussain was the pick of the bowlers claiming three wickets.
Shahid was declared man of the match for hiss all-round performance.
Adil wani walked away with Man of the series of the tournament.
ADC, Abid Hussain was Chief Guest on the occasion while as (Corporator) Wajahat Hussain Jan alongwith Kaunsar Mir (SSA NIIT/JKCA Selector) Abida (Cricket Coach JKCA), Afshan Ashiq (FIT India Ambassador) Sadia Tariq (International gold medalist in Wushu) Manzoor Ahmed Dar (Level 2 BCCI Coach) were among the Guest of Honours.
ADC Abid Hussain alongwith other prominent sports personalities presented the awards on the closing ceremony.
The tournament was organised by Cricket Fraternity Dalgate with the kind support of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
