Awareness programme on Financial, Cyber Frauds organised at GDC Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: To educate the students about increasing incidences of cyber-frauds and other illegal practices, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in collaboration with Lead Bank Office today Intensive Awareness programme here at Govt Degree College Kishtwar.
dditional district development Commissioner, Sham Lal was the chief guest, while the event was attended by LDM, RSETI Director, representatives from JK Bank, Gramin Bank, HDFC Bank and KVIB .
In his address, the LDM educated the students about financial and Cyber Frauds in full detail with the help of audio-visual aids.
All the aspects of the cybercrime were covered as well as preventive measures were also discussed thoroughly.
Director RSETI educated the students about the preventive measures to be taken if anyone falls prey to financial fraud or Cyber Frauds. He also informed the participants about the 1930 Helpline on Cyber Frauds.
The ADDC motivated students to take interest in their studies rather than wasting time on mobile phones. He asked them to educate their acquaintances about Cyber Frauds and the remedial measures.
A question answer session was also held in the end and the students were fully satisfied with the response of resource persons.
