Darul Khair grieved over tragic deaths of 2 minor siblings in fire incident

Distributes relief material among fire victims at Alamgiri Bazar

Srinagar: Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil Srinagar patron Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the recent tragic fire incident at Diver, Lolab in Kupwara district in which two minor siblings were charred to death besides complete destruction to two houses.
In a statement, Mirwaiz expressed heartfelt condolence and solidarity with Muhammad Akbar Khan over the tragic deaths of his two children – a 6-year-old Amir Ahmad Khan and a 3-year-old Sabzar Ahmad Khan – and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant patience to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss.
Darul Khair also expressed grief and sorrow over the destruction of three residential houses of four families due to a fire incident in Alamgiri Bazar of Shahr-e-Khaas (Old City Srinagar). It stressed upon the voluntary relief organisations to rehabilitate the fire victims of Divar, Lolab and Alamgiri Bazar so that they can be saved from further problems in the coming severe days of winter.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil headed by Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon went to Alamgiri Bazaar and offered rice, flour, blankets, kitchen kit and other basic necessities as aid to the four affected families. The delegation also expressed sympathy and solidarity with them.
Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil reiterated that the people of Kashmir are aware of the fact that since its establishment till today, this relief and rehabilitation organisation has provided financial and material support to the victims of natural calamities irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
In this regard, Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil has reiterated its appeal to the affluent people to keep supporting this organisation as they have been doing so that the relief and rehabilitation work can continue.
