PAMPORE: District Badminton Championship begins at Government Degree College Pampore on Thursday.
The championship was inaugurated by Principal GDC Pampore Dr Huda.
SDPO Pampore Mir Imtiyaz Ahmad, SHO Pampore Adil Ashraf and Badminton district President Mir Murwat Hussain were also present on the inaugural ceremony.
Around 100 players participated in the five days championship on the inaugural day.
Around 350 players both boys and girls of different categories across District Pulwama are going to participate in this championship, Mohammad Irfan Shah told Kashmir Reader.
The Championship will conclude on November 21.
The championship is organized by District Badminton association of Pulwama in collaboration with Government Degree College Pampore recognised by J&K Sports Council.
