Hajan: A boat capcize in Neechyeeir Nalla in Banyari village of this North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday evening resulted in killing of one person.
The officials said that three persons who were rowing the boat carrying willow twigs sank near Neechyeeir Nalla in Banyari area of Bandipora district.
While two persons Firdous Ahmad and Ghulam Mohammad swam safely to the banks the person Javid Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar went missing .
Soon after the news spread the team of Police ,SDRF,13RR , MARCOS,Locals reached the spot and launched a massive rescue operation to retrieve the body of Javid Ahmad.
After hectic efforts his body was retrieved Wednesday evening. After completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to family for last rites.
As per family sources Javid Ahmad (43) left behind seven children including six daughters and son.
Pertinent to mention here his elder daughter is all set to be married soon.
