Srinagar: An active militant has been arrested during a naka checking in Imamsahib area of Shopian on Sunday, police said.
Official sources said that during naka checking near Mohanpora Trenz, an active militant, namely Aadil Ahmad Dar s/o Ab Gani Dar R/o Trenz Imamsahib, was arrested by SOG Imamsahib, 178/BN CRPF, and army’s 44RR.
One pistol, RDS 14 nos, and 01 magazine were recovered from his possession, police said, adding that Adil Gani Dar is affiliated with LeT.
