IUST hosts Campus Tour for Govt. Boys’ Higher Secondary school Tailbal

Awantipora: Islamic University of Science and Technology hosted a campus tour for Government Boys Higher Secondary school, Tailbal, Srinagar on 3 October. The campus tour was later followed by an interaction session.
During the tour, the kids were shown various facilities and labs across the campus such as the renowned Rumi Library, which houses more than 50,000 volumes of books. The students also visited the Food Technology department, where they learned about the various food-processing mechanisms used in manufacturing processed food as well as art of preservation.
Towards the end of the Campus-tour Principal of the School interacted with the Dean outreach IUST, Prof.Lily Want, where they discussed future possibilities for more campus tours and initiatives to get more schools and colleges students to visit university.
Principal Govt. Boys Higher Secondary, Tailbal, Qumrun Nisa, mentioned the visit was interactive and quite informative for the students and thanked the officials for allowing their students to visit IUST and learn something special with this vision-broadening event.
