SRINAGAR: Department of Zoology Govt.Degree College Doda kick start the wildlife week celebration 2022 under the patronage of principal Dr.Attar Singh Kotwal and HOD Zoology Dr.Ajaz Ahmed Wani and faculty of zoology prof.Imteyaz Ahmed and Dr.Muneesh Kumar by signature campaign.
This week is celebrated every year from 2nd of Oct to 8th of Oct. in order create awareness regarding the consevation of wildlife and its importance .
The chief guest during the inaugural day was Majid Bashir Mintoo, wildlife warden of Chenab Division Kishtwar.The department is going to organise series of events during this week in the form of essay writing, painting ,clay modelling of endangered species and symposium .
It is pertinent to mention here the event is sponsored by Department of Wildlife protection ,Chenab Division Kishtwar.
The other faculty members who participated in signature campaign are prof.KK Manhas, Dr.Anayat Ullah, Dr.Jag Mohan,Dr.Tasir Shrief,Dr.Mohd.Aslam Dr.Sarvjeet Singh , Prof. Syed Kazim, Dr.Masood Ayoob ,Dr.Muneesh Kumar,others and large number of students.
