PAMPORE: Munciple Committee Pampore in collaboration with Hope of Kashmir Trust on Thursday organised a bicycle and motorcycle Rally for promoting Drug Free Kashmir “Say No to Drugs and Yes To Life.
The Rally was started from Munciple Committee Pampore and finished at Shaheed Manzoor Chowk Kadlabal, Pampore.
A number of Cyclists and motorcyclists of Munciple Committee Pampore including some girls participated in the rally.
They were holding placards which read, ‘Say yes to life, say no to drugs’.
The rally was led by Councellor Arfat Khan and other employees of Munciple Committee Pampore. Munaza Lateef Chairperson Hope of Kashmir Trust and other volunteers participated in the rally, officials told Kashmir Reader.
“For encouraging fitness and creating awareness, the Munciple Committee Pampore organised anz anti-drug cycle and motorcycle rally under Nasha Mukth Bharat Abhiyan with a message “Say no to drugs and Yes To Life”, Councellor Arfat Khan told Kashmir Reader.
He said the main purpose of the rally was to create awareness in the Saffron Town on drug abuse so that we make the drugs free Kashmir.
