DDC Shopian reviews progress under District Capex Budget

SHOPIAN: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of officers of different departments to review the status and progress of developmental works taken under District Capex, Budget 2022-23 including Aspirational Block Plan.
On the occasion, threadbare discussions were held on various aspects related to expeditious execution of developmental works under District Capex Budget 2022-23.
It was apprised that out of total 1663 approved works, 1602 have been allotted and 684 works stand completed till date.
The meeting reviewed status of tendering, allotments, bills drawn for the work done, claims of the approved works, Timeline for completion, Status of works of different departments, new works, Regular component of works, Month wise book of expenditure, new projects of Health, Education, R&B, PDD, RDD and PHE sectors and PRI grants.
The DDC asked the officers to adhere to the timeline of all works completion. Executing agencies were asked to ensure that the allotted works were completed within the given time frame.
Among others the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Programme Officer, ICDS, Shopian; Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Education Officer, District Statistics and Evaluation officer, District Treasury Officer, Executive Engineers from R&B, Jal Shakti, Irrigation, KPDCL, REW and PMGSY, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Block Development Officers, EO MC, District Manager NRLM and concerned.
