Police arrests 4 thieves in B’la, stolen property recovered

Srinagar: Police in Baramulla solved two burglary cases by arresting 04 accused persons involved in the commission of crimes and recovered stolen property worth lacs from their possession.
During the investigation of case FIR No. 240/2022 of Police Station Pattan in which household items were taken away by the burglars at Bhat Colony Mirgund Pattan. The investigating officers led by In-charge Police Post Mirgund, after strenuous efforts arrested three burglars identified as Aijaz Ahmad Malla son of Gh Mohd Malla, Syed Ubaid Shah son of Syed Mustafa Shah and Zaffar Hussain Wani son of Nisar Ahmad Wani, all residents of Yakhmanpora Pattan. On their disclosure stolen property including copper utensils, shoes, gold ring and cash were recovered.
Similarly, during the investigation of a burglary case FIR No. 233/2022 of Police Station Pattan in which burglary was taken place at Saderbal Palhallan, Pattan, the investigating officers led by In-charge Police Post Palhalan, after hectic efforts arrested an accused person identified as Umar Ahmad Khanday son of Gh Mohammad Khanday resident of Khanday Mohalla Pattan. On his disclosure, stolen property including copper utensils and water pumps were recovered.
Community members have applauded the efforts made by the Police in cracking/solving the burglary cases. Our consistent actions against the anti-social elements shall re-assure community members that Police has resolved to act tough against individuals involved in any criminal activities.
